It's surprising how much time went on to creating two replacement sills using the door jamb timbers.
Cutting to width and thicknessing down to 40 mm was relatively quick.
However, I really needed a bevel on the sills as well - I ended up messing around with different thickness of batten under the timber and then passing it through the thicknesser.
It took quite a few tries to get it right.
