We have received a letter from the feared fire inspector saying he wanted to meet with us to discuss our fire safety plan.

I have been steadily mulching up all the leaf litter around our house but it is a bit like painting the Sydney Harbour Bridge - as soon as you finish it - it is time to start all over again.

Any way - I spent all Saturday and half of Sunday putting leaves and twigs through the mulcher.

It certainly looks a lot safer and tidier now.
