Continuing the saga of needing to replace some 2.0 metre joists with 2.2 metre joists - During the week I prepared 9 various pieces of Z purlin and C purlin.
I cut them to 2.2 metres and painted any white oxide areas with primer and metalic top coat.
Saturday morning I was up at 4.30 am and by 7.00 am had all materials and tools up on to the loft floor ready to make a start.
I had hoped to install the whole lot but only managed 5.
I was very tricky, physical work, with many trips up and down between two levels.
I was exhausted by 4.30 pm, stopped for dinner, but could not get started again.
Hopefully I can finish this off on Good Friday, create floorboards on Saturday and install them on the Monday public holiday.
