I managed to prepare two purlins on Thursday and the remaining 6 by staying at home and working on them on Saturday.
This involved cutting to length according to my measurement diagram, filing off any dags, clamping and drilling through the right angle brackets and fastening with purlin bolts.
Most of the lengths required a bracket at both ends.
Once all 8 were prepared I treated the raw cut ends with cold galvanising.
