A bit of a cleanup day.
I had Wwoofer James to help me today.
The grass is getting long and the pepper tree is intruding in to the public footpath.
Also, at home, 4 gum trees had self seeded in to our flower pots.
I had James replant these along the creek line, mow the front verge and give the pepper tree a hair cut.
I know on days like these there is no point in me attempting anything major so I spent the day cleaning up and loading prunings to go to green waste.
Also, after talking to my neighbours I realised that I should do something proactive about termites.
I worked all the way around the perimeter of the house exposing the edge of the slab and removing rubbish that would allow termites to establish an entry point.
