I was really hoping to finish the temporary work surface on both the garage door side and the back veranda. I came very close but I was working almost up to night fall.

The initial work was rather slow as I had to work on both sides of the diagonal.

While I was having a lunch break Ian dropped in and I chatted for a while.

We then went over to visit Ross and I put some time in to setting up Ross's new modem.

I needed technical support from Iinet so left a call back request and went back to work.

By now it was extremely hot working on the corrugated iron and eventually I had to retreat inside in to the cool.

I think I must have fallen asleep as the next thing I knew was that it was 4.00 pm.

By now Iinet had called back and after a few false starts I managed to get the modem set up.

His Internet Explorer keeps crashing so I will bring a copy of Firefox on thumbdrive next week.

It was a little cooler now and I almost finished the back section off.

Probably another 2 hours to go next session and then some time tying down any flapping edges that might trip me up.
