Today I welded in the 3 metre false veranda extension.

Both ends needed to be ground down by 2mm due to slightly different stock steel sizing.

In all, it probably took me two hours to adjust and set up.

Then another 2 hours to weld it all up throroughly.

Once again I don't know where the time went and next thing I knew, it was mid afternoon.

I really wanted to set up a gauge to measure out the 8040 mm spacing between the columns for the UB250.

I attempted joining and overlapping several pieces of metal stud framing but it twisted and folded when I attempted to lift the ends.
