In preparation for tiling I need to lay a screed in the laundry and bathroom areas.
With rain approaching, I thought it would be very handy to have the pile of sand I need inside the garage area.
This means it will be close to hand while I am mixing cement, and I won't need to go outside on a rainy Saturday.
I nipped out to the block on Wednesday afternoon intending to wheelbarrow the entire sand pile inside.
I also bought 10 bags of grey cement from the hardware on the way out and stored them under cover on a pallet.
Darkness came as I was working. I'd say I have managed to move two thirds of it (10 barrow loads)
