The electricians have put some quite stringent conditions on me before they will sign off on the job.
One of these is that the open inspection area behind the switch box must be enclosed.
I had some plain 2m x 0.9 cement sheeting - so I cut this to size, attached some plastic joiner strips and carefully fastened it in place.
I have used plastic joiner as opposed to plaster flushing so that the sheets can be removed for further electrical work.
I have judiciously removed some of the strip backings so that the panels can be quickly pushed back in to place instead of tightly clipping in as a permanent structure.
It looks pretty good, even if I do say so myself
