I was unable to get out to site because I needed to work on an urgent client deadline.
Instead, during spare moments, I worked on the timber, 10 lite external door I had purchased.
I organised with Rusty at my local hardware to cut two pieces of pine to size and thicknes them so that I could attach them to the top and bottom of the door to add another 80 mm height.
Then over a number of days I masked off the glass and applied two coats of primer and one coat of enamel to both sides of the door.
Aiming to install it, with Tony M's assistance, along with a very good deadlatch lock next Saturday
