We left Andrew with a floorboard denailing tool (made by Tony M) and over Sunday and Monday he managed to lift all the floorboards.
Anna called us Monday night to tell us that the site was now ready for us to come and remove the 5 x 2 floor joists.
Arrived on site at 7.00 am Tuesday and went at it hammer and tongs. Pulled out some very nice timbers. Linda arrived at 9.00 am and did her fair share of the work as well.
We even managed to drop the stairway to the ground. It was too heavy and long to lift on to the trailer in one piece. By this stage I was too tired to dismantle it, but Linda had a burst of energy and managed to unbolt just about all the treads. Once in pieces, it was easy to load on to the trailer.
