I started building the site toilet on the back verandah of our house in Mundaring.
I constructed it mainly out of bed frame angle iron scavenged from the local tip.
For a long while it consisted of a lot of lengths of steel held together by clamps - while Linda and I discussed how large it needed to be and where everything should go.
Eventually I had it all welded and bolted together, as well as the cladding precut (but not installed).
Desperate to have it ready to install the next day - I worked outside on the verandah until 11.00pm cutting the cladding to size.
At 5.00 am the next morning, I managed to haul the frame on the back of my little utility, drive it to site and haul it off on to the precast base.
I then dynabolted it to the base, pop rivetted on the cladding, and Linda turned up later to paint it.
No door yet.
