I'm exhausted now - I worked hard all of Saturday but I managed to accomplish a lot.
I drove out to site on Friday night.
This meant that the next morning I was up at 5.30 am and able to start working at 7.00 am.
The first job was to reinstall the corner timbers (I had removed these on Wednesday in order to fold the building wrap around the corners.)
Then additional rows or cladding one through three. I eventually was getting to the point where I could install a row in 1.5 hours.
Next, I folded the excess building wrap in on itself and added the fourth and final row over it.
By now it was 4.00 pm but I really wanted to install the "gable" flashing to make the wall waterproof and not depend on the tarpaulins.
There were 18 pieces to install and some of them now look pretty ropey but I managed to complete it in the failing light.
I'm aching all over today but I feel a sense of achievement.
Wednesday
Partway through the day I headed out to site.
I continued work for my clients but during breaks I managed to reattach the corner flashing, mask off the gaps between planks and fill them with Sikaflex Pro.
