Monday was a public holiday and on Wednesday and Friday I worked hard in the morning so that I could have time out on site in the afternoon.
I see these as "bonus" days where I can work on other aspects without losing momentum on the main project.
A top priority at the moment is to knock down all the weeds before they become too tall for the lawnmower to tackle.
This is always a huge job as there is almost a quarter acre to deal with and the buffello grass becomes very dense near the creek.
Also I needed to clear away the canopy of a fallen tree.
I am left with a small strip near the creek that still needs to be mown on another day.
Saturday
I continued on with the papering of the stair well - I am almost finished apart from one outstanding easy section that should take me about 2 hours to complete.
Hopefully, next Saturday, I can install some test downlights under the landings to gain a feel for the best lighting configuration.
