Despite my initial start on Wednesday this still took me up to 4.30 pm

I tried very hard to eliminate any gap between the tops of the facing boards and the underside of the treads.

However, in the photographs you will see that a few of them are still showing.

I am hoping that some dark "No More Gaps" applied from behind might hide my sins.

The next job is to move upstairs and start fixing off the treads on the upper runs.
